Is this programme accredited?
Yes. AIMu delivers OTHM-awarded qualifications regulated by Ofqual in the UK. Ofqual is the UK government regulator of qualifications, examinations and assessments in England. The pathway uses UK-regulated qualifications and progression structures across travel, tourism and hospitality management levels.
Is this recognised in my country?
OTHM qualifications are UK-regulated and widely used for international academic progression, including routes to the UK, USA, Canada and other destinations, subject to admissions, credential evaluation, employer requirements and institutional review.
Can I use this to get a job?
Yes. The programme is designed to support employment readiness in tourism and hospitality operations, aviation passenger services, hospitality and events, guest experience, travel operations and service management. AIMu does not promise employment, but the curriculum is built around practical aviation, tourism, hospitality and service-sector career areas and progression into supervisory and management roles.
Is this a bachelor’s degree?
Level 6 is a bachelor’s-level award on the UK Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). AIMu’s Levels 4–6 pathway is structured to move learners from foundation-stage study to reach bachelor’s-level completion. Level 6 supports Master’s progression, senior professional pathways and further study.
Can I skip Level 4 or Level 5?
Possibly. Applicants with prior learning, college credits, a Level 4/5 qualification, an associate degree, relevant professional experience or equivalent standing may request an advanced-entry review. Admissions will confirm the correct starting level.
When can I apply?
Applications are accepted year-round. You can apply online, submit your application fee, complete the required admissions steps and receive guidance on the next available intake.
When is the next class starting?
Distance learning starts are available monthly. Instructor-guided online classes and on-campus starts are in February, June and October. Availability may vary by level, study mode and programme delivery arrangements.
Can I study online?
Yes. AIMu offers flexible distance learning and instructor-led online options. Face-to-face study is also available in Kingston, depending on intake and delivery arrangements.
Can I work while studying abroad?
In the UK and Canada, eligible international students may work part-time during classes and full-time during scheduled breaks, subject to visa conditions, institution rules, programme eligibility and current immigration regulations. In the USA, work options depend on visa type and institutional authorisation such as CPT or OPT where applicable.
