Our BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in International Travel And Tourism Management (Aviation) prepares students with the knowledge, skills, and understanding to advance directly onto final year/s for the degree.
The diploma level provides the education and training you'll need for a range of careers in travel and tourism, including aviation for airline cabin crew members, events management, sustainable management, visitor management, heritage management and tour operations management.
The program has underpinning focus on aviation operations and management with units covering an overview of the aviation industry, airport passenger services, hospitality services, business toolkit, concepts of flight, flight attendant duties and responsibilities, and further looks at safety and service in the industry.
Our flight attendant modules on this program look at the teamwork and coordination requirements among flight and cabin crew with lively and interactive class formats that will allow students to role play and create stimulation of customer service scenes and in-flight duties including various aspects of in-flight communication and beverage service.
The business units on this program tackle customer value management, principles of management, organisational behavior, launching new ventures and sales management.
You will have the opportunity to study for two years, and can then Top-up for the full degree in International Tourism Management. We can confidently tell you that this course has everything you'll need to enter the job market immediately or continue to final year for the bachelor's degree.

Opportunities Abroad

In previous years students have participated in at least one optional study trip to a destination outside of their country. The cost of optional trips would not normally exceed US$750 for flights and accommodation from most destinations in the Americas. You may need to allow an additional $250 for your expenses on the trip. Students may further benefit from sponsorship covering up to 50% of their travel costs.
The teaching team also aims to provide a regional or national study trip annually to a tourism attraction or similar destination. You are usually required to contribute to the cost of entry; this would normally not exceed $150. |

1. ADMISSION TO THE PROGRAM
You may enter with any one: SAT Scores, GED, Four (4) CSEC/IGCE Subjects, UK Level 3 National Diploma, or similar secondary school exit qualifications from your country.
We will consider mature students aged 25 years with only three (3) subjects and two years of pertinent work experience.
Applicants who are 30 years or older and do not meet the regular entry requirement are also recommended to apply if you have five (5) years of high school education and three (3) years of full-time employment.

2. ONLINE PLACEMENT TESTS:
All Applicants are required to take and pass the online placement tests for admission.
3. TUITION AND FEES FOR THE HND:
Our Tuition and fees are almost 90% lower than traditional universities because we price the diploma-level of the program (the first 16-24 months) at a lower rate than the university will be charging for the final year/s when you are topping up the bachelor's honours degree.
Tuition for 2020/2021 programs are on the brochure attached. This amount covers tuition, student fees and external assessment fees. The Tuition may be paid in full for the entire 16-24 months on the HND. You may use a flexible plan. Example, paying per year; per semester (2 times per year); per term (3-parts), or in four parts.
Even more flexible is available in the payment terms. If you can prove that you're employed, you may start classes with US$250 on your account and pay $70 per month.
