THE UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TESTS
The Admission Process for AimU includes a Personal Essay and the Critical Thinking Assessment Testing. Both assessments are conducted online. Instructions and examples of what are expected will be emailed to you. The Personal Statement and CTA Testing can be attempted three times. Only after you have passed both tests should you expect an Offer Letter to join the college.
THE PERSONAL ESSAY
This a personal essay of 450 - 500 Words. The admissions essay is designed for you to demonstrate to the admissions review committee that you are a good match for the college and a good match for the program you're seeking admission. It is also a great way of letting us know who you are and what makes you unique and different from everyone else. After completing the essay, you will be given access to the Critical Thinking Test.
THE CRITICAL THINKING TEST
The critical thinking test, also known as a critical reasoning test, will determine your ability to reason logically through an argument and make an objective decision. You may be required to assess a situation, recognize assumptions being made, and evaluate arguments. The test is 45-60 minutes.
