Below is the information about AimU online entrance test. You'll use the Test Request Form on this page to gain access to the paper/s.
2 | ABOUT THE PAPERS
The Admission Process for AimU undergraduates includes a Personal Essay and the Critical Thinking Assessment Testing (CTA). Both assessments are conducted and submitted online. Graduate Students will only complete the Personal Essay. The paper is written and submitted online. Instructions and examples of what are expected will be available with the test.
The Personal Statement and CTA Testing can be attempted three times. Only after you have passed both tests should you expect an Offer Letter to join the college.
ABOUT THE PERSONAL ESSAY | This a personal essay of 450 - 500 Words. The admissions essay is designed for you to demonstrate to the admissions review committee that you are a good match for the college and a good match for the program you're seeking admission. It is also a great way of letting us know who you are and what makes you unique and different from everyone else. After completing the essay, you will be given access to the Critical Thinking Test.
ABOUT THE CRITICAL THINKING TEST | The critical thinking test, also known as a critical reasoning test, will determine your ability to reason logically through an argument and make an objective decision. You may be required to assess a situation, recognize assumptions being made, and evaluate arguments. The test is 45-60 minutes.

- Please take the time to review the information below. It will explain the composition of the paper and what is required of you.
- Use the Test Request Form for access to the online test. Submit the request only when you're ready to take the test. You only have 48 Hours (2 days) to complete and submit both papers.
- You'll usually receive the results within three (3) business days.
