The OTHM Level 7 diplomas on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) are at the same level as master’s degrees. However, they are shorter (120 credits) and learners will have to proceed to the dissertation stage (60 credits) with university to achieve a full masters programme. To top-up the degree you'll advance directly to university in the UK or overseas. You may also opt to study by distance learning but attend your graduation ceremony. As a Learner on this award, you will study Distance Learning. The diploma and degree can take as little as 16 months of study.

DELIVERY AND ASSESSMENT METHODS
The level 7 qualifications are delivered distance learning using video tutorials, reading assignments, online forums and conversations, practice papers, and web based activities. All units within this qualification are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by the awarding body. The qualifications are criterion referenced, based on the achievement of all the specified learning outcomes. To achieve a ‘pass’ for a unit, learners must provide evidence to demonstrate that they have fulfilled all the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by all assessment criteria.
ASSESSMENT TYPES
The assessments on this program are assignment-based, and are not timetabled examinations. Among the assessment types are: Research Reports, Essays, Debates, Forums, PowerPoint Presentations, etc.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
For entry onto the Level 7 Diploma in Coachingand Mentoring qualification, learners must possess:
- A bachelor's degree in related subject or UK level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification
- Mature learners without a bachelor's degree but with Five (5) years of senior-level experience in the same field may be considered (check with the enrolment office regarding the specific evidences of prior learning that we will be requiring to grant admission to the programme)
- English requirements: If a learner is not from a majority English-speaking country must provide evidence of English language competency.
